Facebook is starting to smell a lot like MySpace right before its demise = ads and spam stinking up the fridge. Ive been online since the 80s. WRT social, Ive had profiles on Classmates, Ryze, Napster, Friendster, Orkut, MySpace - and seen them all crash and burn. Its not a question of if, but when, Facebook faces the same fate. But FB is different because of the scale - and the naivete of newbies to social. I wonder how a billion FaceBookers will cope when all their connections, photos, videos, and status updates vanish from the scene like a black, rotary-dial, landline telephone? Thoughts?
