Facing die out situation "Empurau" live in Sarawak River deep inside the forest, being partner with local native hundreds of years. Its living conditions inevitably with clean and clear water, it will “move” if water contaminated. Today due to its level of pricey value, have brought them more killing disaster. Even with all kind of capturing restriction, still inevitably the case of illegal fishing for the significant economic benefits. As for river pollution is even more a vexing problem. Logging industry like a nonstop tank, gradually take away our green forest. Catchment areas are gradually removed, eco waters continuously to be destroyed, plus some of the irresponsible factories illegally drain out waste water. All these have caused to Living condition inherently special of such fishes facing bigger crises! Over time, we have no doubt that it will become our precious "heritage"! In order to avoid such river fish from being endangered, know-how to conserve these valuable "heritage" is more worth to think about!
