Farm Report 3/18 SKUNK Sadie and Tycho returned around 0130 last night. When I opened the door there was Skunk in the air and Skunk on the dogs. This is the time of the year when one walks around the farm at night one should carry a light (even though there was a beautiful full moon) because there are amorous Skunks on the prowl that will defend their territory. The groundhog holes are being dug out and all sorts of critters are sniffing the air. Skunks are particularly bad in the early spring. The odor isnt too bad when one gets used to it.
