Feeling the need to put the cammie gear back on today for the 4th of July weekend to speak out. All of us who served have the right to be heard by the citizens we defended. Just because we dont communicate in terms, phrases or sentences you understand (it takes a different type of animal to do the type of job our minds were transformed into doing), doesnt mean we should get pushed off into the corner and be ignored. Most insulting is the entire country know we are suffering, yet wave flags and tell us how proud they are? Stand up and be recognized for our sacrifice? How about ASKING us WHAT that Sacrifice was? I have NEVER been asked by the average person (non veteran) what that sacrifice was and how it affects us DAILY. How hard is that to do?? Not as hard as carrying a fully loaded M-16 with fixed bayonet.
