Fellow Nigerians, Lol! No, I am not a coupist o, una good - TopicsExpress

Fellow Nigerians, Lol! No, I am not a coupist o, una good morning. Here is one thing that baffles me. When we talk about corruption, are we saying we want it or we do NOT want it? I listened to Amaechi speak at the Bayelsa rally yesterday and felt once again, that perhaps, he needed to understand what exactly corruption is all about. According to him, The President did not fire the streets and water the farms in Bayelsa and for that singular purpose, he had failed Bayelsans. Interesting! So If I get Nigerians right, someone in power is supposed to neglect every other area and turn his village into a mini Dubai? I suspect he inadvertently campaigned for the Jonathan/Sambo team without even realising it. So, someone who has driven on the Benin-Ore expressway, the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, the Abuja-Lokoja expressway in record time and without the previous inevitable death traps is thinking: wow, this is not like this man took this money, and because he felt the money is being generated from his region, plunged it back into developing his region alone. He is actually developing the entire country, bit by bit. Thanks Amaechi for telling the world as they watched, that the President will not take money meant to develop the entire nation and sink it into one particular region, tarring the entire roads, even almost tarring up to the bedrooms and latrines in that region. Thank you Amaechi, for reminding the world that this is a man who is impartial and firm. Thank you for reminding the world, that this is a man that did not need to play politics with Nigerians, he believes that he is President over all and not just for his people. Each time you kept saying, we talk resource control but we no dey control the resource, I shook my head and wondered, so it is all about you the political elite right? You do not care that Nigeria is slowly fighting the demon of corruption. We have troops facing the insurgents and fighting them off, keeping them from completely over rrunning the land. We aid and abet, but we want the President to charge into that region, gun in hand like Arnold Schwarzenegger and shoot an insurgent himself? I do not want to talk about the global war on terror, this is Nigeria, our country and ensuring its unity and sovereignty is the work of ALL, not one. So, you talk of corruption and we see that the main symbols of corruption have been kept in the background of the APC campaign. LOL. And I wonder if Obasanjo is truly justified to speak about corruption. Like really? Anyway o, we want a President for all and not just one region. We do not want gragra and action, we want institutions that will change the system and transform it into the New Nigeria we all want and crave so desperately. I have heard so many people echo this change for change sake mantra, change will come from you and I, change is a process and not a switch, change is not throwing off your clothes and putting on a new set. Change is a steady process of transformation - moving from the old to the new, not from the old to the older. Until I get the real change I seek, on Jonathan I stand. #VoteGEJ2015 #OnTransformationIStand #KaiBuhariSaiJonathan nigeriaworld/feature/publication/babsajayi/121010.html
