Fellow computer gamers I am upgrading a client’s custom built gaming tower for him. They originally wanted an ATI Radeon HD7990 video card however with a price tag of $1,000 by itself they want me to look into getting another 7000 series card that is a decent gaming card but isn’t going to break the bank? He currently has a Radeon HD5750 that died. This is pretty much an upgrade using his old motherboard to get the person by until they look into building a completely new system. The upgrades besides the video card are going to include an AMD 6 core processor, 16GB DDR3 ram, 256GB SSD and 1000w PSU. He is pretty set on sticking with an ATI Radeon card as long as it’s in the 7000 range or better but not costing $1K. Any suggestions? It has to be a PCI x16 card and the board only has 1 of these slots.
