Female privilege is the social privilege that American females born in the past 30 years have had throughout their entire lives, no matter how attractive, no matter what class. It is being invited. It is being wooed. It is being shown the best of everything. It is being shielded from reality. It is having ones hand held and being taught, instead of being expected to learn. It is being given things instead of being expected to build things. It is the influence of popularity, and the social power over peoples lives that entails. And women should be glad to be rid of it, for it begins on the presumption that a woman is not equal as a man, and proceeding henceforth as if this were true, it becomes true. Because people who have been taught to lean on others will always be weak by themselves.
