Few things I noticed in todays match, Burnley vs United. 1) The one obvious limitation I can see in a 3-5-2 for United these days is that if a team like Burnley crowds out the center of the pitch, the only players who get any kind of space are the wing backs. Unfortunately in our case, those two players are Young and Valencia. If i continue seeing these two idiots playing throughout the season, Im probably going to go bald as I will be pulling my hair out every weekend after seeing them bumble forward and mis hit cross after cross. 2) Although the mid field is crowded in a 3-5-2 and can give us more options, the absence of Carrick, Herrera or anyone who can bring the ball forward from the defence is hurting us really bad. Once we have Carrick and Herrera playing together, things would be wholly different. 3) I hate to admit this, but Mata has still not fit in. How much longer would it take :/ 4) Van Persie should really not be started with Rooney at the moment. Need someone to stretch the opponents defenses which none of them can do much since they are both not the best channel runners a la Costa. This makes selling Welbeck all the more strange. 5) Things would improve a lot after we have all our players available. So no need to worry, yet. 6) Any idea where I can get stats for todays match, United vs Burnley? Need to check how many crosses Antonio f***king Valencia attempted and failed. UFFF TAUBAH! What is his best attribute? I fail to understand. He cant beat a man, he cant mark a man, he cant deliver a good ball. Hes not an especially good header, he doesnt take set pieces.
