Final Paper (30% of Final Grade) A term paper will take the place of final examinations. Task: Pick a country (e.g. Sweden, Bhutan, Bolivia, etc.), or state (Kerala in India, for example), or city (e.g. Naga City), which has an interesting development model, and: Describe the development model – its background and history, salient features, and major impacts Describe the development theory/ies that this model most closely reflects Critique the model, its strengths and weaknesses The paper should be at least five but no more than seven pages (excluding the title page and reference/bibliography list) and should use Arial font 11 and 1.5 spacing. A print copy should be submitted to me on Thursday, 4 December, at 6 pm. Early submission is encouraged; and an incentive for this will be added to the grade of the term paper. Please submit your choice of country/state/city to me next Thursday, 30 October.
