Fish Lake and Wilson Bar with a 210. Two of Idahos more remote, and challenging, airstrips. Both are one-way in, one way out. Wilson Bar is just upstream of Mackay Bar on the Main Salmon River. Camp here and listen to the rapids just below. Fish Lake is where you are almost guaranteed to see moose and catch cutthroats. Late August is a good time to visit Fish Lake, after the mosquitoes have called it quits for the year. Fish Lake, however, has a few more potholes than it used to--probably not the best for a retractable gear until a work crew can get in and fix them--and never take off over the lake with a tailwind.
