Making a Difference – 2014 Florida Wing Conference, 14-16 March 2014 at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Seaworld, Orlando. This year’s theme is “Making a Difference” – help us make a difference to our members, our wing, and our community. The seminars will equip you with the tools and resources needed to succeed. The Cadet Conference will take place during this time period as well. Ultimate Cadet CHALLENGE (UCC) will take place at Camp Blanding from 25-27 April 2014. UCC is an event that tests cadets in areas covering the three missions of Civil Air Patrol. Events include emergency services activities, obstacle courses, knowledge examinations, uniform inspection, drill evaluation, and leadership reaction courses. Summer Encampment dates are expected by to be published soon pending final facility confirmation. The tentative date is 20-28 June 2014. Additional information about the dates, location, and initial staff application will be published soon. GROUP 3 – MACDILL AIR FEST 2014. MacDill AFB has invited CAP to participate and assist with ‘MacDill AFB Presents Tampa Bay Airfest 2014’ air show. The show is open to the public and includes an extensive ground display, vendors and an air show featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds. The dates of the air show are 22-23 March 2014.
