Following two great nights at Moonbeams Wold Top Folk Festival and Brosella Folk and Jazz festival in Brussels we have a first for the band - a night off at the end of a tour. Today well be drinking Belgian beer and watching the World Cup final in a local bar here in Brussels. After two and a half weeks on tour weve had a great time meeting some great old and new friends along the way, but the band now is feeling a bit broken. Innes had to be taken to hospital yesterday for an injection to be able to do last nights gig due to his back going. Peter suffered for the last five gigs after pulling a muscle in his side. Ross has struggled for three gigs with a torn thigh muscle and Graeme has had a speaker land on his finger (thats ok though as you only need one finger to play the synthesiser). We have a small amount of time off now before playing in the Kirkgate Theatre in Cockermouth on Thursday, Dongellau Festival in Wales on Friday and the Tiree Festival on Saturday. Thanks to everyone whos supported us so far this year.
