For 13 years Audizine has been an Audi enthusiast’s mainstay to talk about four ringed cars and trucks, along with just about any other interesting thing (in General Chit-Chat, of course). What better way to celebrate this milestone than a good old fashioned cruise up one of California’s most scenic roads, through some of its most historic cities? As a long time sponsor of Audizine, GIAC was proud to sponsor the event, and more notably, to tag along and meet some fellow enthusiasts. The cruise started at Laguna Seca Raceway, one of the world’s most well-known race tracks. Heading up CA-1 through Santa Cruz took us through Greyhound County Park and into Half Moon Bay for some lunch. From there the cruise continued up CA-1 alongside Northern California’s beaches, eventually leading us through a taste of the steep streets of San Francisco and on to the Golden Gate Bridge. After that, the group made a quick stop in Sausalito for some photo ops with the Golden Gate Bridge and the city of San Francisco as a back drop. The last leg of the cruise brought us up the 101 and in the the wine country of Sonoma, CA where Audizine had set up a fantastic dinner at the Lodge at Sonoma. But first, the crew at Audizine had setup a small get together at Sears Point Raceway, also in Sonoma, CA. This included some parade laps around the track itself while chauffeured by some Audi Pace cars. With an event so well thought out, like this one, it’s clear that this was put together from a true enthusiast’s point of view. It’s one of the main reasons that we’ve supported Audizine for so many years, and will continue to do so. We had a great time meeting everyone that came out and look forward to supporting more events like this from the Audizine crew in the future! TAG Motorsports emmanuele design
