For anyone unsure of what courses/electives you need to take to pursue any Arts & Science options, please take a look at this list: queensu.ca/artsci/academics/undergraduate/new-students/register-for-courses/choose-your-first-year-courses/choose-by-plan-or-program/i-want-to Keep in mind: youll want to keep options open if you want to take on a minor. For Science students, because most of you are taking Chem, Bio, Physics, Math - whatever elective you choose (if you take 100% course load), keep in mind the possible major/minors you could pursue with it. Those in Arts, it really depends on what you wish to pursue. Peruse through your options (same for those in Sciences), and keep options open by using your elective spots to take prerequisites to other programs. A perfect example is if you wish to study Psychology as your major, but maybe are interested in Genders - make sure to take the preqrequisites/intro level courses for each program in case you decide to take on Gender Studies as a minor to Psychology (or Gender Studies as a back-up major in case Psychology doesnt work out!). Just something to keep in mind! :)
