For my friends, fellow Cold Warriors, and others who might be interested. I have resigned from the Cold War Era group because Chuck Sears, the self-professed historian, disapproves of my stance on intelligence faker Werner Juretzko. For those of you not up on it, Juretzko is a shameless self-promoter who has variously claimed everything from being a 14 year old prisoner of war locked up with top Nazis in World War II to being a political insurgency agent for US Army G-2 as a 16 year old. Frankly, everything significant he has claimed is fake, and he didnt even begin to have these memories until 40 years after they happened. Sears defense is that Juretzko is a published author (self-published by a vanity press) and that this somehow gives him veracity. Thanks Chuck, you have just demonstrated that you are clueless on the topic of the Cold War.
