For such a long, long time child loss doesnt seem real. We cant grasp the idea of our child being gone. Somehow we still expect to see our child come through the kitchen door, or we grab the phone thinking well hear our childs voice. We think we spot our child in a crowd only to be so heartbroken to finally realize we were mistaken. We buy our childs favorite food waiting for our child to come home so we can fix his special meal. We talk in the present tense, not the past tense when referring to our child. Child loss is like a bad dream........and we pray every day that well wake up from this nightmare and life we be as it should be -- with our child in our presence. Child loss is such a cruel, heartbreaking loss! Sometimes it takes years and years to accept the fact that it is real. Our child will forever live on in our heart! Exactly how I feel daily...I swear I hear his voice..look for texts ..try and wake him up for work..I miss him so bad..
