For those of you who are on both the pages i admin on youll hear this twice. Sorry. So i was reading a post or article or something idk about hurry up. I wanted to input on that. I am constantly telling Mega Hurry, in the same sentence i sometimes even add wait a second. What a contradiction! Poor kid probably gets whiplash trying to do what i tell him and then I am left wondering just how to get the poor boy to listen to me, his super over stressed mom! I sat down with him last week and told him i love the fact that he likes to take the time and enjoy life, I wish i had that urge too. I told him I wont tell him to hurry up any more unless its important and a absolute must. I have caught myself many times and I say never mind, we are not in a hurry, enjoy a stroll to the car just make sure you buckle up so your safe once you get there. Its made a HUGE diffrence in the lets get dressed eat blah blah blah in the morning. I dont have to rush him and we actually save time by cutting down on the arguing! Sit back moms and dads! Enjoy it! Watch them eat and have fun. Mega LOVES to eat his sandwiches in a circle just like me! I would have never knew that if I hadnt decide to take a step back and slow down in my time with him. He doesnt hear hurry up and eat so he gets to chew slower digest better and i get to see how much his eating habits imitate mine.
