For those on the fence about seeing The Last Ship before it closes in two days, GO! Yes, the book problems youve heard about are very real, but the cast, the direction and the score are sublime. That score! Sting has not written a musical where he sticks his greatest hits into a story but is instead making a glorious debut as Broadway composer. This is one of those shows where people will hear the cast recording and wonder why this show wasnt a smash because the music is so fantastic. And as a bonus for these last few performances, youll also get to hear Sting perform some of these wonderful songs. So go!
