Friday, Congress passed the National Defense Authorization Act, which provides funding for the military. Despite the Air Forces recommendation to make cuts to the A-10 program due to high costs, the NDAA wont allow it. Instead the bill decreases military pay raises, lowers the military housing allowance, and increases co-pays for Tricare, the military’s health insurance program.
