Friends: Im looking for women artists with connections to Mexico City for an international print ad for a major brand! Great pay! WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR - please read carefully: Were looking for women artists/designers/graphic designers/sculptors that work with paper as their medium/fashion designers/textile designers/etc. that work in or have a connection to Mexico City. Maybe this artist maintains a studio in Mexico City. Maybe this artist had or has an artists residency there. Maybe this artist pops in from time to time to do work or research there. Were open to considering a variety of situations. One very important requirement is that were looking for a woman that looks out of place in Mexico City - that is, she does not look like everyone else there. We would like a woman that looks like shes from somewhere else. SO - were focusing primarily on black women, black/caucasian women, or white redheads. Very specific, I know! The woman selected for this ad (and some of her colleagues in Mexico City) will be paid very well for participating in this ad. If the woman chosen lives away from Mexico City, we will pay for airfare. Potential participants must be available for the shoot and preparation between August 8-12. Casting ends well before that, so please spread the word quickly.
