If we can recall, GEJ led government through it counter-attacking dogs such as Pa Ayo the gun runner and co has castigated and labeled fmr CBN Gov HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as an Islamic fundamentalist over his program to adopt Islamic banking into Nigeria banking system. We heard/saw all sorts of government sponsored blackmails and propagandas aimed at portraying SLS as an Islamic extremist who wanted to islamize Nigeria through Islamic banking. But to my dismay, the same government that sponsored propagandas against SLS and Islamic banking system is now associating business with an Islamic bank. You may wish to refer to page 27 in The PUNCH newspaper of Friday, January 2, 2015 for more informations under the caption; Federal Government to borrow 135.4 billion naira from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for the execution of the East-West road in south-eastern Nigeria - Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Now my questions are: Is President Jonathan trying to Islamize Nigeria? If not, why would he engage in transactions with an Islamic bank that was known for Islamatizing several countries? Or did GEJ also have a hidden agenda to impose Sharia on all Nigerians through Islamic banking like what Sanusi Lamido Sanusi wanted to? I am now waiting for Oritsejafor and his led CAN to applaud President Jonathan for engaging into business with Islamic bank or to rise up and stop him from islamizing Nigeria.
