From the documentary One Life on tv right now: Grasscutter ants - TopicsExpress

From the documentary One Life on tv right now: Grasscutter ants cut grass to feed it to a fungus that grows underground. They eat the fungus but continue to feed it so that their food source never depletes. They do this their whole lives. The fungus releases so much carbon dioxide that the ants create a ventilation system. Amazing considering their brains are the size of pinheads. Im now watching a lammergeyer vulture inspect a bone it threw from high up- the bird continues to pick up and throw this bone until it shatters so it can eat it. Now a monkey is breaking a nut that is harder than human bones with a rock, it takes these monkeys 8 years to master this technique. How ridiculous is this world. Mashallah.
