Fun Fund-raiser a Success: Everyone who came by to eat, party, bid in the silent auction & enjoy the perfect summer evening contributed to the success of our parking-lot party. Big thanks to all the businesses and local people who donated art works, jewellery, golf days at Pincher Creek and Crowsnest Pass Golf Courses, Cruisin’ Cards for Castle, a stay in the hotel at Castle Resort, gift baskets & gift certificates, cook books, - even hand made furniture. Thanks to all Beaver Mines Store staff, especially Jean McRae. Corporate sponsors include Eldorado Petroleum, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Old Dutch, and Harlan Foods, who all helped with food costs. Thanks Castle for the sound system. Big thanks also to musicians Kevin Stover and Alyssa McQuaid. Together we raised over $4000.00.
