GO THURSTON COLTS!!!! I am so excited to announce the lifesaving gifts from our first Thurston High School Fall 2014 blood drive on Monday, November 4th where we were able to collect 81 units from a presenting 104 donors and got to register 66 of them for the very first time too! CELEBRATE AND GO THURSTON HIGH SCHOOL! Each unit saves 3 lives and this means that over 240 patients will benefit and be affected by donations made Monday, November 3rd at Thurston High School. WE ALWAYS and FAITHFULLY get great support at Thurston High School, the student volunteers are very diligent with directions, eager to help, set-up and take down was smooth, the flow and steady presenting donors was awesome, and the overall set-up was great! I also feel like the Library is a great and central location too. Sun greeted me and unlocked the library for me and made us feel so welcome. Don, you are a great leader, teammate, and more importantly a great support in getting our hospitals what they need for their patients! Mr. Underwood was the first donor and we saw quite a few staff and faculty donors too! We are truly privileged and fortunate work with you all and be a part of lifesaving gifts! I welcome any ideas, suggestions, feedback, and ways to strengthen our partnership. May you all have a safe, prosperous, and successful Fall season, see you in 2015 in our New Year!
