GOD’S BEST TEST JESUS OFFERS LIFE ABUNDANTLY – SATAN OFFERS DEATH REDUNDANTLY OUR FINEST HOUR IS ALWAYS FOUND IN HIS HONOR God wants the very best for his people. It is his desire for us to live on the highest level. Why then do so few reach the heights in the born again experience? The answer is found in the fact that what God really wants is the surrendered heart – the sold out life. When this is accomplished everything else is a simple add on. The word teaches us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and then all other things will be added on. The first step in that direction is to simply get sick of the world and its ways. The world makes promises that perpetually fall flat. Waiting for the world to produce anything that’s positive is an exercise in futility. The promises get better and the results get worse. The sun rises and sets every day. It never changes. Its accuracy is absolute. Of course, we know that it has no choice. God sets its perimeters and it basically obeys. God did not make us in the same way. He could of but he decided to give us a free will. The future is hard to understand or explain unless we are looking at it through the mirror of his word. At that point accuracy is absolute. We work our fingers to the bone and wonder if our deeds will pay dividends. Why do we question results that have already been determined? We plant seed but the crop dies on the vine. Why is that? It’s because the true seed is within us and to plant it we must plant ourselves. It’s called being sold out. Jesus promises life abundantly. Satan offers death redundantly. Life will continually spin out of control as long as it is not surrendered to the supreme source of power. Our finest hour is always found in his honor. Life is not about me or if it is then it has a very predictable end. Life in its finest form is all about Jesus and when it is, it too will have a very predictable structure. GOD’S BEST TEST MY LORD BIDS ME, COME AWAY TO A HIGHER PLANE ALL THIS WORLD OFFERS IS INCREASINGLY MUNDANE STUCK IN THE MIRY CLAY THAT PROMISES ‘NO HOPE’ LIFE IS WITHOUT PROSPECT – IT’S A DOWNWARD SLOPE WHY DOES THE SUN RISE AND THEN SET AGAIN WHO CAN HELP – IS THERE NO ONE CALLED FRIEND IS THERE NO SOURCE UPON WHICH I CAN DEPEND IT SEEMS LIFE NEVER REACHES PAST THE NEXT BEND IS THERE A PATH THAT LEADS TO SOMETHING BETTER BORDERS AND HORIZONS WILL LIMIT THE PACESETTER IF OUR EXPECTATION IS TO BE MORE THAN JUST AVERAGE WE MUST SHATTER THE CHAINS OF CONSTANT BONDAGE JESUS PROMISES LIFE THAT IS MORE ABUNDANT LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST IS DEATH AND IS REDUNDANT WE WALK AROUND IN CIRCLES SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL WISHING FOR MORE BUT WITHOUT A SINGLE GOAL WE MUST BREAK DOWN THE DAY TO FIND OUR FINEST HOUR DARKNESS MUST NOT PREVAIL, THERE IS PROMISE FOR POWER BELIEVE AND LOOK UP, GRASP THE FUTURE IN YOU FIST GOOD THINGS ARE JUST AHEAD AND IT’S A VERY LONG LIST R.L.
