GOOD NEWS!!! Ashtons appointment went great! We got a call around 8:00 that Ashtons 8:45 appointment needed to be changed to 11:00. We decided to just keep him home because he was up a lot last night with a runny nose & his monitor went off about 40 times. I was a little concerned that he would be exhausted from not sleeping well but he was so excited to see his favorite Cardiologist & his staff. Totally not kidding, Ashton asked about 30 times when was it time to go... Only my child would ask to go to the doctors;) Anyway, it was all good news!! Before we left, we prayed at our Jesus statue for good results as well as for Ashtons pops & a few other friends. Ashton insisted we touch his robe:) We went to his appointment and Ashtons heart function was once again fine & eventhough Ashton has grown his heart size once again got smaller!!! There were a few possibilities as to why this may be but of course we will never know exactly why but we dont need to know:) The cardiologist even mentioned that if this trend continues we coud possibly see him once a year instead of every 6 months!!! Such a blessing. Then Ashton asked to go to the toy store. He woud go there EVERY day if he could!! I carried him in just to be a little quicker & he was trying to catch snowflakes with his mouth wide opened. It was the cutest thing ever!! He does not go out in the snow much because he is freezing even in the summer so he needs to be so bundled up that he can barely move or enjoy it. Rich got his wheelchair, which is new and met us inside. Then as we were leaving, he once again caught the snowflakes in his mouth!! We were getting him in the car & the most amazing thing happened...... A young lady pulled up & said that she had a bunch of toys she wanted to give to someone & asked if we woud like them. We said of course & she helped us put them in our trunk. It was amazing.... It was almost ALL stuff my boys woud love including a sorry game, nerf football, a frozen matching game, Dr. McStuffins note pad & paddle ball, bag of military men, and a few plastic military/ police sets. I could not believe it and once again felt so blessed to be a recipient of such a nice gesture. I think I never mentioned my target story. But long story short..... I was pushing ash in wheelchair, pulling a loaded shopping cart and trying to keep Jonah by my side through target the day after we got back from disney. A target employee handed me a $100 bill and said someone gave it to him for me. WOWW!!! I cant believe these angels that keep appearing before us. We have done very little Christmas shopping & were going to do some today but since Ashton was with us it has not happened. Hoping to get some done tomorrow but so thankful for the angel that pulled in the lot in her white car, gave us some toys, & pulled away just as quickly!! I really could not dream this stuff up!! I am Looking forward to an early birthday present this weekend.... Going to see Moses at sights & sounds and then friendly farms with family!!! You all have a great weekend!!
