Gathering Together How often do we gather together with other men, or other woman? The disciples gathered together daily says scripture. Does the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ build up our faith? If that fellowship gets beyond shallow communication people can build each other up, edify one another, hold each other accountable, and spur each other unto deeper relationships with God. We need each other more than we know. Even the disciples ministry was not alone for Christ sent them out in pairs. For if one were to get off the straight and narrow the other could guide him back. We hear God say it is not good for man to be alone, yet do we try to do it all on our own? How many men have been on fire for God, yet lost that fire for they had no others to be accountable too, to help them, to pray for them, or to support their work. We often think we should separate from the institution of church, and go off on our own, but in this we make a dangerous decision. For God has designed us for fellowship with other believers. The word of God says meet even more together as the end draws near. Are you in a mens group, Bible studies, womans group, prayer group, or other fellowship to serve God in this calling?
