Gday Everyone. Firstly, apologies for not putting up any posts for a while now. To be honest, we have been extremely busy so I will try to do a post each day (with photos, where possible) for the next week and see if that brings you all up to date with what has been happening in our world. A brief summary of the last 8 weeks:- We have been battling to save little Ari for the last 6 weeks, working 24 hours a day with him. Each time we thought we were winning he would go backwards but we are hoping (fingers crossed) that he is now on the mend. Bronnie has been on the sick list as well and Terry had to make an emergency trip to our local vet (550 kms away) nearly 2 weeks ago. She is also on the mend. We were very lucky to babysit a very small baby wombat (a pinkie - no fur) for 2 weeks, which was amazing. I (Jo) have also had a trip down south for 5 days - flat out like a lizard drinking (for non-Australians that means very, very, very busy running around). We had Channel 9 here the other day filming for the programme Discover Downunder. We will let you know when it goes to air as soon as we know. Today we are mopping up from Coober Pedy being flooded yesterday. The water was lapping at the door and the only thing that saved us was it all drained into our underground display opal mine and museum where the water is now waist deep. All our yards and kangaroo shelters were totally underwater so we ended up with all the big kangaroos inside the house as well. What a mess. As you can see it has been pretty well full on for us here.
