Getting a clear photograph at the House of Blues here in Las Vegas last night of The Psychedelic Furs enigmatic Richard Butler (read: best frontman & stage performer in rock n roll history) was as much an impossibility as getting absolute dreadfully indifferent opening band The Lemonheads to move an inch. Ive been to hundreds if not thousands of shows and never seen a musician so happy & grateful to perform as Richard Butler, and perform he did, all over the stage with a gusto just like the rest of the band. For two solid hours he & The Furs were simply the absolute of professional & artistic perfection. Maybe the best overall concert of my life to date.
