Hoorah ! I am pleased to report that Operation Strawberry Netting has been a complete success and although the garden now resembles Camp Bastion and I have to attend to the Broody coops commando style ( I mean crawling forward , not without panties ! ) no other chicks have been lost to the Evil Menace in the sky . I know that its just nature doing its thing but Im not inclined to stand by and be a David Attenburgh and let it happen , this isnt Springwatch - This is WAR ! See photos: Marjie keeps an eye on the sky and Julie introduces her brood to the neighbours before she moves out of the kitchen .
