God, cares about every area of your life. God, showed me a lesson on waiting and patience that I believe we all can learn from. I decided to invest in weights to make my own gym at my house so I can save money and workout any time I wanted to without leaving the house. I started buying inexpensive weights from flea markets and thrift stores. I ended up spending more then I had planned on spending, but I had enough to do a little something. Then I realized that I needed a bench with a rack so I can rack the weights after I do bench press and squats. I only wanted to spend like $20 or $25 for one. I went to craigslist and they had quiet a few benches on there that I liked, but they werent in my price range. I started calling people trying to negotiate the prices, but nobody wanted to go down to my price. Guess what? I was steadfast on my price as well!!! This went on for 3 weeks and by this time I really needed to get a bench or else I was going to end up hurting myself out there trying to get the weights off me. Today I went on craigslist to see if anything had changed and I see A bench on there for $50. It was just like the one I had been wanting. My co worker knew my situation and he jokingly told me that I wasnt going to get a bench for what I wanted to spend. I was like, then I want get one. So I texted the guy who was selling the bench and asked him would he sell me the bench without the weights for $25 . He texted me back and said ,sure! Then he texed again and said, will you please take the weights as well? I was like, Thank you Jesus, because I needed more weights too. Long story short my cuz Champ Harvey and I picked up the bench without any problems. We were amazed, joking, and laughing seeing that bench was such in great shape and that I only paid $25 for it. It was definitely a steal!!!! The message to this story is to encourage you to know what you want in life. Dont compromise for it!!! Nine times out of ten if you have the desire is in your heart, God put it there. It doesnt matter what it, it could be a spouse, a house, car, or even something as small a piece of equipment. God, wants you to have it and he cares that you get it. We just have to learn to wait on God and be patient. But dont just wait put your faith and some actions towards it. Again I say, dont compromise!!! Gods timing is the perfect time. When you wait on Gods timing the situation will be like Proverbs 10:22 The blessings of the Lord makes one rich and no SORROW with it.
