God does not instigate nor partake in confusion. His...is the ministry of peace. Many people have an allergic reaction to the Bible. They hear the Word of God and they immediately become angry. They immediately begin sinning during the entire course of their anger, succumbing to angry outbursts which smear their credibility as reliable witnesses, disciples and ambassadors of Christ. It cannot be emphasized enough how God is not the Author of confusion among the brothers and sisters whom have been adopted into His family and are a part of the Lords Church...because He is the Author of peace instead. He is the Author of unity and harmony...and of oneness. God is not the Author of chaos and disagreements; nor of all the arguments which create hostility and division among those who love Him. God is also not the accuser of the brothers and sisters who love Him. That lone task belongs to Satan. When we act in anger we do not work the righteousness of God. When we make accusations at others we are aiding and abetting the devil, who is the enemy of our soul. He doesnt need our help to do his job, he does it quite well all on his own, Besides, why should we even want to assist the adversary...this would only work against us, leading to our very own demise? Folks, Gods words are true. His commands are safeguards which protect and sharpen us. Instructions in righteousness are not effective if they are not being followed. We must obey the Lords counsel for the sake of spiritual maturity. A Christian who lacks the desire to grow spiritually is a Christian who is more worldly than he or she is spiritual. We are to develop in the direction of holiness because the only other alternative is to grow in the direction of carnality. Carnal Christians are not true Christians. They are lamps without oil. They are hearers of the Word only. They are not doers of the Word. Therefore, their religion is useless. The signs that a person is saved entail the following: First▬they love God Second▬they love one another Third▬they operate in that love (the fruit of the spirit) They cannot operate in the fruit of the spirit if they have not been indwelt by the Holy Spirit of conviction and promise. If they have been sealed until the day of redemption by the Holy Spirits eternal presence in their lives they would not continue, with a clear conscience, to: prosecute; accuse; harass; condemn; pass judgment upon; practice partiality; operate in the spirits of hatred, pride, malice and self-promotion; place stumbling blocks before the weak and the lesser experienced in the faith; speak hastily with unbridled tongues; provide (bear) false witness; scrutinize evilly; excommunicate; pick and concoct petty conflicts; and usurp and undermine Gods Sovereignty by disrespecting His Authority. Such, are enemies of the Cross of Grace and Salvation, merely deceiving themselves. One cant claim to love God yet defiantly disobey Him. Loving God involves keeping His commands. No one can serve 2 masters. If one claims to love God but hates his brother or his sister that person is a liar and the truth is not in that person. 1 John 1:5-7 New King James 5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Folks, we have got to stop lying and begin practicing the truth. Let us no longer choose to walk in darkness. Let us rely on the Lord to help us to walk in the light instead.
