God you are so good!!!! Well we did it. Speak Hill Dance Project had our official first run. Wow! 4 shows. Each night got better and better and we closed last night with a waiting list and standing room only. What!!?! Thank you to everyone who prayed for me, encouraged me, listened to me. Your support has been tremendous! Thank you to everyone who donated, drove long distances, braved traffic, came to the show multiple times and invited friends, gave up their evening to come and be with us. You have no idea what your presence means to an artist who has taken a chance to create work and share it. Thank you!!! To my students volunteers, I love you guys so so much! To the Escamilla family, thank you for rockin the will call and concessions with such excellence and grace. To custodial, you guys were my angels. I literally could not have done this if you did not step in and help. Thank you, thank you, thank. Veronica Gaytan , Chandell Tolbert, and Margaret Leyva, thank you for the beautiful photos. Veronica, it was gorgeous what you did with them and we all love them! Emma Harris, I have no words but hear my heart. May God multiply to you 100 fold for every moment that you spent helping me, for every favor you extended, for every resource you shared. I pray blessing and increase over your life and everything you put your hands to. I pray that He blow open opportunities in locations and contexts you never imagined. I pray that favor goes before you in everything that you endeavor. Thank you sister! To my dancers, I will never be able to thank you enough for helping me obey God in excellence. For you I pray the same, that favor go before you, that everything you do be blessed and increase, that opportunities and connections be prepared for you before you arrive at your next endeavor, that God guide your path and protect you and shine His light on you as you go forth! So, whats next for Speak Hill? We will be presenting this show again in 2015 in a bigger venue and will be presenting individual pieces in festivals to get our work out there. Emma is already pushing me about touring and Im like whoa doggy! Lol. But we are going onward and upward, always increasing in grace and excellence. Stay up on what were doing.
