Gods Grace is sufficient. Expose yourself to sights, sounds, sensations, people and environments that remind you of His Grace. Now I see the importance of church attendance, reading the word, prayer and avoiding contemporary entertainment. Theres no way you wont feel broke, horny, unimportant and insecure after watching E!, TRACE, SoundCity, MTV Base and EL TV all day. I have nothing against these channels, all Im saying is limit your exposure to them. The people you see onscreen are real people but at that point, they cant relate to what youre facing. Most of what you watch is scripted and rehearsed to perfection. Most of the clothes and blings they wear arent theirs. A lot of times, they disagree with what they are presented with but they have no choice. Its THAT or nothing. Without THAT, they are just like you or worse. Reality TV is anything but real. In fact, the only reality TV that isnt totally script is News and they still have to script the News report. Being on TV isnt the height of achievements. The only true achievement is living a life that gives glory to God and being contented with it. Money is not the ultimate possession, GRACE is. Clothes, jewelry, shoes, parties, popularity, money and relationships can only offer you temporary bliss. When you go to bed at night, those things wont wake you up in the morning. GRACE does that.
