Going thru life is a lot like driving a car (or at least how a car SHOULD be driven - accounting for the fact that most cant drive well either lol): 1- mainly keep your eyes on the road ahead -in fact two or three lengths ahead (being prepared for what might happen based on your route and what others are doing around you helps prevent or at least mitigates what could happen) 2- look in the rear view once in a while -its good to know where you came from--maybe youll need to go back or maybe it might feel good to see how far youve come-- but dont spend all your time there or your certain to crack up 3- you only need one lane -- theres never a good reason to hog someone elses lane or to be jumping from one lane back to another. You may think someone elses lane is better until it stops and you cant get back in the other that is now passing you by. Stick to it and make it work and be happy you have a lane to begin with.4- showing off will only end up in a bad way. Its too late to moderate your speed after youve smashed into the wall or the tree or someone else.... 5- dont impede! If you want to take things at your own speed thats your business but it doesnt entitle you to hold back others. 6- give yourself more time than you think. Its never a perfect trip, the extra few minutes are invaluable. 7- be considerate. No that doesnt mean let others drive over you. It just means that someone else might have just as good a reason for being frustrated as you are and maybe that will help calm your road rage. If you dont like the way the others are driving take a different road. Getting ahead doesnt require squashing the other car like a bug. Everyone is trying to get somewhere in life. Happy driving ...
