Good Afternoon America FB Friends and Family......What an awesome week-end this has been....On Friday evening attended a Fund Raiser at the Beautiful home of Carlos and Diana Mayo, sponsored by the Greater Southwest Optimist Club, the evening was cool and pleasant with many good friends in attendance and the food and the Margaritas were great. The GSWOC is a non-profit organization that dedicates its efforts toward raising funds for scholarships and supporting youth and their activities in the Austin metropolitan area, worthy of our support.....Saturday morning Richard and Mary Sue Bernal came by and we drove to Bennys Texas BBQ for some good tacos for breakfast. Bennies is located at 1688 Hwy 71 West in Cedar Creek Texas...between Austin and Bastrop. Benny Ochoa and his wife Debra are the owners of Bennys....Both very good friends to my son Rene. Saturday evening attend the 50th Anniversary of Chico and Delores Martinez, it was so nice to see so many friends and enjoy the good food and music by Joel Salas and his band....great music to dance too..Joel is making a great come back, after being away from the music circuit for a while....Welcome back Joel...Sunday morning woke up hungry for a good bowl of Menudo....now.......there are several Bowls around the nation, Rosa Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and All State bowl to name a few.....but....no one has a Menudo Bowl like Bennys BBQ, so my hubby and I drove to Bennys for a fabulous bowl of Menudo..boy it was the best....really enjoyed the trip...prayed the Rosary and the Chaplet to the Devine Mercy on the way up there....and coming back listen to music of the legendary Maunel Donley.....reminiscing of an other time....Good Music and Good Company...life is great and God is Good.....Now to attend Mass this evening at the Beautiful Santa Cruz Roman Catholic Church...so Spirit Filled and the most beautiful choir and voices of young ladies of the youth group........The high light of the week end will be knowing that our Caboose Bernie will be on U S soil safe and sound from her one month trip/vacation to Costa Rica,,,,thank you Lord....and Blessed Mother.....Yessssssssss Life is great and God is Good......P T L
