Good Afternoon. My name is Claudia Beard and I am the owner of a newly formed small charity (based in Twyford) called I Am Super capes. We hand make Superhero capes for sick & disadvantaged children in the UK and around the world. We are in the middle of a major mission making 600 capes to send to the Red Cross Childrens Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa in time for Christmas. My plea is this: do you have any spare duvet covers that you no longer use, or any children duvet covers that your little ones have grown out of? We can organise a collection and transform them in Superhero capes for all the little heroes.....after all, every hero needs a cape.
