Good Afternoon race fans.... heres a clip to get you warmed up for some action on the Hill tonight. Coming off back 2 back top 6 runs Wenger was starting to make his presence felt in the points battle in 1994. Sitting 3rd a 130 points back of Paul Koch, Wenger was starting to apply pressure to the point leader. After multiple attempts at a start the feature went on a long 18 lap green flag run. We will pick up Bill Bushs video on the first of 2 lap 19restarts. Davey had follow, tormented, and did everything he could to pass Koch. They battled constantly for 8th in the 18 lap run. This was the rematch we (as Wenger fans) had been waiting for since opening day when Wenger could not pass Koch for the win. Watch as Wenger goes for broke... 3 wide on 3 wheels but was unable to make the pass initially. But this is Davey Wenger and when given one more opportunity he will not be denied. The next attempt sees him blast to the outside again passing cars including Koch as the inside line bottles up. Then Wenger dives 3 wide, off turn 4 banging wheels and actually having his front end lift off the dirt never lifting off the gas as he surged from 9th to 5th in 2 laps..... I think you will enjoy this Grandview moment as Wenger served notice he was the man to beat. like and share with your friends... tag yourself if you were there!
