Good Morning :) Have you ever wanted to start running for fitness/weight loss but didnt know how to go about it?...Are you looking to improve your fitness but the gym just isnt for you?...Do you want more from exercise than just exercise i.e. meet new people, make new friends and become part of something...if youve answered yes to one or all of the above then I Couch to 5K is for you... What is Couch to 5K? Couch to 5K is a graduated run/walk programme which takes you from your current level to being able to complete a 5K jog/run by gradually increasing the time and distance on walk/runs over a period of 10 weeks. Running with others is a great motivation tool and seeing the group progress will make you realise that youre not alone and that there are lots of other people who understand how youre feeling and what youre going through, because they are too! How many times will I need to walk/run per week? The programme involves 3 sessions per week, one with me and 2 homework sessions. A private Facebook will be created for all those who sign up to encourage groups to complete homework runs together.;! When will be walk/runs be? Runs will take place at the following times: Monday 6:15PM Wednesday 7:45PM Saturday 10:00AM All runs will take place from Westwood, Buckley and sessions will last approx 1 hour. These days and times are subject to demand. Actual days and times will be confirmed once those interested in signing up have confirmed availability. If you would prefer to run in the mornings please let me know when you contact me. What will I receive when I sign up for the programme? * 10 week run/walk plan * Body Composition Analysis pre and post programme (weight, body fat %, BMR, Muscle mass) * Advice, guidance and support * Access to a closed Couch to 5K Facebook Group * 1 coached season per week * 2 x live Facebook Q and A sessions to provide health and fitness tips When will Couch to 5K start? Couch to 5K will start the week commencing 14th July What is the cost of the programme? The programme costs £40 per person payable before the start of the programme. Just £4 per session!! How do I sign up? Contact me via Facebook or email and let me know your availability to run and a bit about your current fitness level. I expect a range of fitness levels so it may be that there are 2 groups as opposed to one.
