Good Morning. In Amos 7:15 we are reminded God sometimes chooses - TopicsExpress

Good Morning. In Amos 7:15 we are reminded God sometimes chooses to speak to us through one of His servants. We must be willing to listen to the word of God. The word of the Lord said, “And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.” Matthew Henry in his commentary on this text said, “He had no thoughts at all of ever being a prophet, and therefore his prophesying could not be imputed to a raised expectation or a heated imagination, but purely to a divine impulse.” Unless we allow the Lord to speak to us, we will never be in a position to truly represent Him to the Lord. I pray that we will surrender our all to the total control of the Holy Spirit so that through our voice the word of God can go forth to His people.
