Good Morning everyone. Hoping you all have a wonderful day. This guy is heading back to bed. Cheryl had to help me out of bed this morning and the light at the end of the recovery tunnel seems to be on a tunnel on another planet in a different galaxy Could not stand up so she quickly gathered my pain medications, while listening to me invent new swear words never heard before. From now on, we will be setting an alarm, taking my pills while staying in bed, then sleeping for a hour until they are working and then try the day from there. My surgeon is one of the best so Im sure he did a bang-up job. You know those jars that everyone has in their garage that are full of nuts, bolts, screws, and nails ? It feels like someone opened me up, dumped the contents of one of those jars in, and then sewed me shut. I am so thankful that Cheryl is here to help me. She helps me get dressed, picks up things when I drop them (I am astonished at the number of things a person drops during the day and just normally pick up instantly without thinking about it). Today she will be doing the first dressing change and inspection and then I think I will go hunt for a cane. It would help me tremendously getting up and down in the house. Cheryl says it may NOT have a gun it it. Everyone take care, help each other out, and keep watching for those Lost Dogs or any animal in distress.
