Good Morning from Heaven. Oh, how this little girl could make me - TopicsExpress

Good Morning from Heaven. Oh, how this little girl could make me smile and light up my world. You know, she still does. I would have NEVER had the courage to take on the animals with disabilities as I have, had it not been for Sandy Wayne teaching me and showing me the way. Our Amazing Grace looked as if she was taking her last breath when I picked her up last November from the vets office, but when I looked into those eyes, I saw a creature begging to live, rather than a squirrel who was dying. Looking into that big cage at the pound in May, was a puppy whose head was so swollen, most would think it was surely dying. I saw in Sarah a longing for love and help. And when I was taken to the room at the pound where Hope was lying on the floor motionless and her eyes covered with matted fur, I felt a heart beating and a desire for compassion. I did not know how to connect with these animals prior to life with Sandy Wayne, and would have been afraid to even try to help them, but now I have the strength and courage to do all I can to help them. This is not a pat on the back for Reba, this is an acknowledgment to the lessons taught by this precious baby, and the bond that was created between us. Only my God could have made such an arrangement between a furry little squirrel and an ole hillbilly woman with a broken spirit and a broken body. Sandy Wayne was sent to this earth as a healing angel, and I thank God every day for sending her to us. Sarah, Little Bit, Sam and Hope have all been outside for a potty run this morning and once again - HOPE POOPED!!!! To some this is not a big deal, but believe me, this IS a big deal for Hope, especially in her current condition. She woke up hungry and needing to pee, but is still turning circles and falling all over the place. She can go farther by hugging the wall, but as we all know a straight wall has to end, and then she gets stuck in the corner. She WILL NOT give up. My back has been out of whack for over a week now and I am awaiting an appointment with my doctor for some procedures to help with the pain and mobility. As I sit in the recliner with my legs propped up nursing this pain, I see this little girl grunting as she tries to stand up and walk, just to fall back down again. All I can say is, WOW. She just has to recover. Some of our Sandy Wayne family are little folks (kiddos) and many have fallen in love with Sarah and Sam. I have received a few requests for an address to send Christmas cards to these guys. I have been posting my mamas address which is: Margaret Trotter, 1620 Lucille Road, West Blocton, Alabama 35184, which is an address you all can use. But, I have decided since the trolls have spread my physical address, that they did records searches to find, I may as well post it too. After all it is the trolls I am trying to keep away, not you good people, and they already know where I live. So if you prefer to send cards to the babies to my address it is: Sam & Sarah % Reba Morse, 60 Old Pike Road, Brent, Alabama 35034. Sam really likes handmade cards from his younger friends and will have me post pictures of them when they arrive. We were thinking of doing the One Dollar Challenge again this year to raise funds for animal care, but will do it unofficially. Which means, if you are sending a card, drop a dollar inside, if you would like. We have over 6,600 Sandy Wayne Family members now, which means if everyone sent a dollar, we would have plenty of funds to give babies like Hope and Oakley a fighting chance. Last time we did this some asked if they could donate to the paypal account rather than to send cash or a check, which is fine as well. The paypal account is: bamajo60@outlook. It is a very frosty and cold Saturday morning, and I would like to sit on the porch, but I am not sure the day will bring enough warmth for this old body to do that. So Hope and I may sit in the chair for a bit and I will look out the window and tell her what beautiful sights are there. I think that between Sam, Sarah and I, we will be able to help her see everything very vivid and clear so she will no longer live in darkness. May your Saturday bring your peace and joy as you LLSW & LLL
