Good Sunday morning. I have a personal announcement to make, as many of you know I have been burning the candle at each end, my first responsibility needs to be Omega and the horses that we have, over the years I have on occasion listed horses from a kill buyer that I couldnt take into our rescue because of funds and space, the last several months we have been listing alot more horses and in turn I am now behind at the rescue, I need to refocus my efforts back to Omega, that does not mean I wont on occasion try to help other horses. I am extremely tired and worn down. There is still a group of horses currently that are not safe and they need your help. As you know Kris Young has been busting her butt to get them into safe homes. I have spoken Kris and the kill buyer of my intention to allow someone else take over the reins in regards to the kill lot horses, it has never been my intention to have a long term assistance program, but its extremely hard to not want to help those horses when you see them. It will be up to Kris if she decides to continue forward without me, I can tell you I have absolute faith she can do this and I would ask you our supporters to stay with her if she decides that she wants to have her own program. This is not a decision that I take lightly but its one that I must take in order for Omega to stay on track. I remain committed to saving slaughter bound horses as Omega has some amazing opportunities coming up that need my full attention. One being a low cost gelding clinic and another being a horse rescue rehab challenge that we are going to be part of plus several local events that we do. So with this announcement please continue to share out the horses from this group their lives are counting on people helping them. If you have any questions as alway Im here if you want to talk..
