Good Sunday morning, everyone! St. Georges Episcopal Church is located in the Amity Community of Hyde County, North Carolina not far from the tiny fishing and boating town of Engelhard. Built in a Gothic Revival style after the Civil War, this chapel is beautifully maintained and still in use. The organ is one of the most stunning I have ever laid my eyes upon! Hyde County is full of an amazing number of well-preserved, rural country chapels....some of the finest in the entire state.
