Good afternoon beautiful people!!!! :D Just as the weather is getting hotter, the dance floor is going to get mucho mas caaaaaliente!!!! :D Great things are in the making for the dance scene in New York, such as, but not limited to: Workshops for lead and followers!!! Leads: Understanding to lead, techniques that will help you express yourself on the dance floor, musicality and understanding music so you can express your own interpretation!!! :D Followers: How to follow without hesitation, how to anticipate in order to protect yourself from getting injured on the dance floor... (Chicote, cambre, head moves and so on... ) For both: How to connect with a partner and keep that connection throughout the dance, dancing is a 2 way CONVERSATION... A conversation that can lead to anything... This series of workshops will be held with Zouk and Lambazouk/Kizomba music however, what my wonderful partner, Hisako and I will teach can be applied to any dance, please feel free to ask me any questions or send me a private message. well need at least 12 people to start the workshops and bring your dance to the next level! As per your request, were going to start a N.Y. Lambazouk team!! Woot Woot!! This team is going to perform in different places so get ready because you will dance a lot! Oh yeah and people are going to love you even more so get ready for all unwanted attention... ;-P Were also going to guide you through Porto Seguro during the Bergs Congress (zouk, lambazouk the biggest one and hottest one in the world), for a small fee you will get me as your personal translator, and also a better price on your congress tickets, an affordable hotel, or a luxurious one, (depending on needs and/or $$$). To go to Brazil can be expensive if you dont have the right tour guide, and who better than Hisako and I to take care of you? will make sure you are well taken care of and make sure you know where the parties are and take you there as well! :D (We dont have a minimum nor a maximum, so please let me know a soon as you know you can save $$$ for the congress!) Were also going to be having guest teachers coming over soon so get ready cause is going to get much hotter in here! :D More exciting news to come so stay tuned... I dont know who may have said the following: A good leader is a person who understands what options she/he can execute on the dance floor without hesitation, as well as the options the follower is allowing the leader to take in consideration... The leader must welcome the follower to maintain a clear connection without force, in order to make the follower smile and enjoy what the leader is expressing. And I think that makes the best leader ever (What makes the best follower? Ill come up with something soon)... Correct me if you have a different point of view! :D
