Good evenin family & friends...I had one hell of a wonderful day today!...1st off I got up at 8:30a.m. after goin to bed at 7a.m. (not quite sunrise but gettin there)...did my usual mornin routine & by the time I was done I was ready to go to a birthday party for one of our very dear residents who will turn 90 on the 4th...this is one feisty lady...Ive told her so many times that she looks to be in her 70s, not fast approachin 90!...she was honored by family & friends alike...there was plenty of food & drink to go around & if anyone left hungry it was their problem...I took well over 90 photos of the event & another resident took many more...were combinin the photos, puttin them on disk & sendin to her daughter who will get them printed & put it an album for Bette (the birthday girl)....the party was from 1pm-3pm but I stayed until well after 5 to help w/clean up...then it was off to run in house errands & make phone calls for the next 2 1/2 hrs...BUT the highlight of my day was when my daughter Vikki Porter called me...I hate it when she uses Vikki as I prefer Victoria....thats her given name after all...we had a great conversation & I even got to talk to my youngest grandson...the others were probably out & about...oh how I miss my kids!...needless to say I am exhausted!...so good nite...have a magnificent sleep & dont forget to dream of angels
