Good evening, everyone. That was a long and refreshing nap that I very much appreciated. Did you all have a wonderful day? Mine was full of many blessings...just absolutely amazing day. So, are you ready for the continuing saga of my stay with my Angel and the rest of my Summer? I do hope youre not bored of me, yet. So, I show up at my Angels place at 12:30 am, a total mess. We chatted for a little while, and she encouraged me, but I was so exhausted that we saved the rest for the following day. She let me sleep in...I felt bad sleeping when I knew that she could use the company. I woke up, ate a little, we chatted some more, she encouraged and loved me like no other on this earth could, and I went back to sleep and slept for about 4 hours. Bless her heart. Here, she had company, and her company couldnt keep her eyes open. Depression will take a lot out of a person, because this pattern continued on for the next day or so. Waking moments were filled with crying and talking. God sure did know what he was doing when he brought her into my life! Then, her daughter and family came home, and as always, they were more than hospitable...and they never made me feel like an intruder. Treated me like family. So, the first night of their homecoming, we all sat talking on their patio, watching the sun go down and enjoying a nice BBQ that her husband was so gracious to cook...Mmmm, it was just what the doctor ordered! They let me stay for as long as I wanted, and I didnt want to wear it out, so I left in a week and a half - only to go back out a few days later because the family was leaving again...and I was oh so eager to spend the time with my Angel. The time I spent there this Summer, there was always something for everyone, and it just made me feel so good - it was a salve...a balm...essential to inner healing. Oh, didnt I say something for everyone? I apologize for the seeming lull in this particular post.... ...but will chat more on the next post. Come...follow. ~S
