Good morning. Its a cool 49 degrees right now with a high of 67 expected today. Lots of sporting activity throughout the Northern San Joaquin Valley today, including Sac-Joaquin Section titles to be decided in water polo, soccer and cross country. Modesto High also has a playoff game at Downey that starts at 1 p.m. We also are trying to get information on a two-alarm fire at a church on Dale Road that was reported at about 1:40 a.m. today. It went to two alarms about 15 minutes later. We did not hear of any initial reports of injuries.
