Good morning MOMers! We are SUPER EXCITED AND THRILLED that we will be able to hold a MOM event in Phoenix this Saturday, Dec 13, from 8 to 11 a.m. (or whenever produce runs out whichever comes first). We are located at 1741 W. Rose Garden Lane, Suites 6-9, just north of Loop 101/19th Avenue/Rose Garden. We will do the distribution in the back of the warehouse. (Please like us on Facebook and share this wonderful news!) For so many of you who have been with us since we introduced MOM in 2010, you know that our mission is to distribute the produce for those who are able to make the donation of $10 and get up to 60 lbs. of produce that they can share with other families. We would like to continue building a caring community through this program. For those of you who have been following up our postings, we truly thank you for your patience as we had to undergo restructuring our MOM program. Things happen for a reason and we now know that it is indeed true for us. We are thankful for our new partnership with Veggies, Inc., who has seen our hearts and witnessed our great intention in continuing to serve the community in Arizona and prevent the over 30 million pounds of produce that gets wasted every single year. We are also grateful to our initial produce donors - Grower Alliance, C&R, MAS and Veggies Inc - for coming on board and we hope that more will follow. We are so grateful and blessed that we are able to hold our first MOM event in Phoenix which will be followed by our warehouse in Tucson and hopefully, we can can expand to the other areas we previously served. Lastly, we are so appreciative of you all, for believing in us and your continuing support of the organization. We are more than produce distribution - we are impacting lives locally and globally through your support and our hardworking, dedicated and committed volunteers.
