Good morning my friends today I was studying out of Philippians 2 :f you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand. But God does not want us to do things in a selfish way. As for our selves.to make a good impression / because that can bring discord and division.God wants to bring spiritual unity with one another . Jesus Christ was humble and was willing to give up His rights to serve and obey God and to serve the people.We need to learn to have a servants heart and do things our of love and not out of guilt or fear. Remember we can choose our attitude . You can approach life expecting to get served or approach it to serve others. Humbling yourselve is not always easy . But being humbling gives true perspective about ourselves . It does not mean to put ourselves down but only before God as sinners knowing that we are saved by His grace and that we should lay aside all selfishness and treat others as Christ treats us. Romans 12:3 Because of the privilege and authority[a] God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us
